Location near a hike the following day, the South Downs national park and Southampton. For tea or coffee visit Stainers nearby. Great to have a rustic restaurant with very reasonably priced food.

The room was cozy and had a soft bed that made it easy to drift off to sleep. The breakfast was a real treat with freshly cooked eggs and good coffee. I loved lounging in the garden area, soaking up the sun while sipping my drink and admiring the flowers. One small thing was the cereal selection could've used a bit more variety, but overall, I had a fantastic time! 🌞

Family with children cozy spot
I gotta say, the place had cozy vibes and a genuine charm. The breakfast? Wow, they used fresh, local ingredients! That full English breakfast was one of the best I've had, cooked to perfection.
It wasn't exactly wallet-friendly, but worth it for the experience.

The room I stayed in had a charming, historical feel with lovely decor. A large, spacious double room invited comfort. Breakfast featured a wide selection, and I especially enjoyed the quality of the food. Staff seemed a bit slow in responding during meal times, frustrating. I also found the bed creaky. The prices for drinks were on the high side, and I felt a little underwhelmed with the limited menu options available during peak times. The location was good, with local attractions nearby.
